I am a Biology and Geology teacher at IES Sanchez Lastra, in Mieres, Asturias. I have a Ph.D. in Biology and I have been working as a secondary teacher since 1997. The Sanchez Lastra school is located in Mieres, a small town very close to Oviedo, the Asturias capital. In our school we offer a bilingual program and two subjects are taught through English at each level. This year I teach Biology and Geology to the 12 years old students, and I feel very enthusiastic about this project, that perfectly fits our goal of making students more sensitive to nature.

I'm an English teacher at the secondary school in Castro Daire. Currently I teach English but I also have a degree in German Studies.
I was born in Portugal and I graduated from Coimbra University. In my fourth year of studies I went to Graz University, Austria, as an Erasmus student. It was such an extraordinary experience to take part in this exchange programme, get to know students from all over Europe and strive to adapt to a different country.
I live in a small village that belongs to a beautiful town, Lamego.
I've always been in close contact to nature, as I live in the countryside. I enjoy going for walks in the woods.
In classes, I try to motivate students to learn English, as well as draw their attention to the importance of a protected and long-lasting planet and their role on this issue.

I’m a biology and geology teacher in Granada, in southern Spain. I have been involved in other etwinning projects but I especially like this one because it is more related to nature. My students are 12 years old for this project and also I have 17 years old students this school year. I live near Sierra Nevada Mountains, where you can ski in the morning and go for a walk on the beach in the afternoon if you want. Granada is a lovely city, with 200.000 inhabitants very welcoming and you can enjoy The Alhambra and The Albayzin, situated on two adjacent hills, form the medieval part of Granada. I love cycling, running and hiking, so I’m sure I will enjoy this project.

I´m a biology and geology teacher in Mieres, town located in Asturias, northern Spain. Our region is well known for being a natural paradise with astonishing features as the Cantabrian Mountains, the Cantabrian coastline and a rich biodiversity all across the region. I feel really lucky living here. I love everything related with nature: hiking, sailing, skiing, mushroom hunting, growing vegetables…
I have been teaching sciences for nine years but it´s my first time in an e-twinning project. What I like most of the project “Back to nature” is to spend time in the nature with my pupils and try to inoculate them my love for our planet and make them take an active role in its preservation with critical thinking. I´ll love to show the natural treasures of Asturias to our e-twinning partners. I´m sure I will enjoy this project!!
